Boom joint transduceR

Function & Features


​​​​​​​Boom joint transducer measures mechanical angles.
  • Parameter setting of the sensor resolution and zero point is possible.
  • 1 server SDO, 2 Transmit PDOs conforming to CiA DS 406  The PDO mapping cannot be changed (static PDO mapping).
  • The COB IDs of the PDOs as well as the type of transmission (synch/asynch) and inhabit time of the individual PDOs can be configured.
  • The Boom joint transducer supports “Heartbeat” protocol.
  • The Boom joint transducer generates an emergency object. The COB ID of the
  • EMCY object can be configured.
  • The Boom joint transducer stores the last 5 errors occurred. The error code of the respective emergency object is stored.
  • The Boom joint transducer support LSS layer for change of baudrate and node number.
  • Object 1010 and 1011 for store and restore of all changeable parameter is supported.
  • Additional emergency message for value out of range is supported.

LengtH transducer

Function and features


Encoder (length) transducer measures movement. The transducer has a measurement wheel/axel.
The connector for the transducer has 2 digital inputs and power supply.
  • Parameter setting of the sensor resolution and zero point is possible.
  • 1 server SDO, 3 Transmit PDOs conforming to CiA DS 406, (static PDO mapping). The COB IDs of the PDOs as well as the type of transmission (synch/asynch) and inhabit time of the individual PDOs can be configured.
  • The Length transducer supports “Heartbeat” protocol. The Length transducer generates an emergency object. The COB ID of theEMCY object can be configured.
  • The Length transducer stores the last 5 errors occurred. The error code of the respective emergency object is stored.

The sensor is a 2-axis inclinometer. Angles are measured by accelerometers.

The transducer measures the movement of the chain that moves the cradle with the drill hammer. The measurement is done by proximity switches. The transducer has connector with 2 digital inputs and power supply.
