A height reference system with base/rover function. The base unit is placed on a known height and the rover in the top of the feeder on the drill rig. The Rover calculates its height compared to the base Correction which is sent from the base to the rover via radio modems. Base has 2 hot swappable batteries and 12VDC power inlet. Can be placed on a tripod or on a fixed location like building with a continuous 12VDC power source.
